Gwel Y Mynydd development shortlisted for excellence award

A 66-home project by local firm Beech Developments has been shortlisted for the LABC North Wales Building Excellence Awards.

Gwel Y Mynydd, off Narrow Lane on the edge of Llandudno Junction, is in contention for the Best New Housing Development category at the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) regional awards.

Award nominations are made by Building Control officers and only make the shortlist if those officers are impressed by the standard and specification of a project.

“It’s an immense honour to be nominated by the local authority,” said Beech Managing Director Matthew Gilmartin.

“For the Beech team, it’s a recognition of our commitment to produce sustainable, high-quality developments within our own local communities.”
