Given the success of the schemes delivered to date, we are pleased to announce we have been selected as the developer for a brand-new and innovative development for Wales & West Housing.

The proposed development, supported by Welsh Government funding, will consist of six new dwellings at the United Reformed Church site in the village of Northop, near Mold in Flintshire.

The scheme will be built on innovative foundation designs, and the main structure will be constructed in timber frame to full passive standard, by our specialist timber frame supplier PYC, with traditional external masonry finishes. The scheme will also incorporate the following innovative features:

Renewable timber frame structure

The use of fully recycled paper insulation to the super structure walls, and roof space

  • Fully interactive heating system
  • Air source heating
  • Heat recovery ventilation
  • Triple glazed timber windows
  • Sustainable drainage
  • Permeable paving
  • Built to lifetime homes standard
  • Fully DQR compliant (Development Quality Requirements)

Jason & the team are very excited about this opportunity, which is due to commence Summer, 2021, and scheduled to be completed in spring 2022.

There are also additional benefits delivered with the scheme, these are in the form of social value & community benefits gained through potential local employment, external space enhancements & general increase of income to the local economy of the area.
