It’s a First for Gwel Y Mynydd!
The first proud homeowners have moved into Gwel y Mynydd, Beech Developments’ latest sustainable development in Llandudno Junction, Conwy. Catrin and Adam Jones, first time buyers celebrated taking possession of their new home, a three bedroom detached Newborough house type last week and are delighted with the location and the quality of the property.
Adam, an IT Systems Administrator at Robertsons Research said: “We chose Gwel Y Mynydd because the location to both our jobs was perfect, it’s close to the A55, close to great amenities but in a lovely quiet location. We preferred a Beech Developments Home because we have friends who have bought on their last two developments here in Llandudno Junction; Gwel Yr Afon and Gwel Y Castell and we really liked the style of their properties and were impressed with the quality and standard. Beech Developments have a sound and solid reputation in the area so that gave us peace of mind.”
Catrin, a PE Teacher at Ysgol Eirias added “I never dreamt we could buy a three bedroom detached home but with the Help to Buy-Wales Scheme we have been able to do so. We are really happy with our new home and believe we will stay here for many years to come”
Gwel Y Mynydd is a development of 66 two, three, and four bedroom sustainable homes built to the highest energy efficient standards for low cost living and a better way of life.
Matthew Gilmartin Managing Director of Beech Developments added: “We sold many of the properties at Gwel Y Mynydd off plan right at the beginning of the development. Many of the buyers were people who had visited our previous developments and had experienced first hand the level of sustainable features and the build quality. We recognise we have a good reputation in the area and this is paramount to us. We wholeheartedly extend our best wishes to Catrin and Adam in their new home.”
