Are you a new dog owner or just looking to take your trusted friend on a little adventure? Well Conwy could quite possibly end up becoming your favourite dog walking destination!

Here at Beech all of our developments are pet-friendly and each of our developments has ample open green space perfect for dog walking, playing and entertaining our little friends. But if you’re looking to venture slightly further to see what walking spots your local area has to offer then why not explore some of the beautiful walking routes in Conwy County:

Sychnant Pass, Conwy

Our latest development Oakwood is located in the heart of Sychnant Pass. A circular walk from here takes you up and over to open fields for incredible views of the Conwy Valley. Mountain ranges of Carneddau, the Great Orme headland and the coast of Conwy can all be viewed, whilst exploring with your four-legged friend. The trail will take you all the way to Druids Circle in Penmaenmawr and isn't for beginners or our very short-legged friends either! Follow the route here.

Aber falls

Aber Falls is one of the county's most beautiful walking spots and your four-legged friends can go too! Just a five minute drive from Junction 13 on A55, Aber Falls has moderate and easy routes to follow. There are many spots along the way to enjoy a picnic although both walks are under three miles so stopping may not be totally necessary! Find more details here.

Conwy Water Gardens

For a beautiful and scenic garden walk Conwy Water Gardens is great place to try. Only a five-minute drive from Conwy, this dog-friendly garden is free (although there is a donation box if you wish to contribute to the upkeep of the gardens), featuring three lakes, nature trails and is full of wildlife, ducks and even chickens along the way!
